Burning thoughts
30 Sep 2013, Posted by Uncategorized inWhen I went to Burning Man for the first time in 2011 I wasn’t looking for anything, and I found everything I’ve always wanted – myself. This year the same happened again. In a different shape and form, with different colors and voices, and yet the same. The feeling of finding something when you are out in the desert is inevitable; the understanding that what you’ve found is yourself, is not. But sometime when you are in the midst of a dusty storm and you stay still and quiet, you might feel that alone-looking and beautiful place within you – the one place you’ve always tried to avoid, because it feels uncomfortable, sad and maybe even hostile at times. But the dust is all around you, like a dry and sacred hug, and it feels safe to stay with your inner place. And in this magical stillness a long longing connection starts to happen. You see yourself like you’ve never had before. And you let the wind blow away your pain, and you let the dust seal in the profound happiness that followed… You feel yourself transforming, and now you know. Now you know what you have found. Here Is Home.
